North Road Park Playground!

Township staff and the Parks Committee have been working hard to design a playground for North Road Park. With pickleball courts, soccer fields, a shelter house and restrooms, the playground will make a great addition to the north side of the township. This playground was designed to target kids of all ages! Check out what the playground will look like in this video provided by Midstates Recreation.

Seeking Committee Members

We are seeking residents who are passionate about giving back to the community and want to serve on the Veterans Committee! This committee was formerly known as the Special Project Committee and helped facilitate the construction of the Veterans Memorial completed last year. 🇺🇸

This committee is focused on any Veterans related projects and/or activities. The purpose of this committee is to assist project planning and/or design, fundraising and outreach. This group works with local veteran service organizations (VSOs), nonprofits, and government agencies to coordinate resources and services. They will meet 4-5 times a year.

Caregiver Crash Courses

Orange Township is partnering with SourcePoint to provide two Caregiver Crash Courses in March. The first one will be March 4, 10:30am – 11:30am. The second one will be March 6, 6:00pm-7:00pm. Both of these courses will be held at Township Hall.

All you need in the time you have: A one-hour class for new, current, and future family caregivers that includes information on safety, falls, getting organized, legal information, community resources, and self-care. Not for professional caregivers. Register online or call 740-363-6677.
