Neighborhood Event/Block Party

Communities can request the closing of a street for a block party or neighborhood gathering. To ensure the safety and health of our community, Orange Township requires communities to file for a Neighborhood Event/Block Party application and submit an application fee.   Login to  https://orangetwp.recdesk.com/Community/Program?category=19  and under program  select Block Party  

Application Process

The application will be reviewed by the Zoning Department, Roads Department, and Fire Department. Please allow 14 days for all departments to review your application. Therefore, we encourage you to apply early. After receiving the application and fee ($75), official road closure barricades will be dropped off the day prior to the party and picked up the first weekday following the party, Please be advised, closing a road without permission will be addressed by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
