Firefighter Delivers Baby!

Orange Township would like to recognize Firefighter Hadley Gabor!

On March 24th around 3:00 a.m., the Orange Township Fire Department received a call about a mother who was in labor. Once the crew was on the scene it was determined the delivery would need to take place inside the home with the assistance of Orange Township Paramedics. Firefighter Hadley Gabor safely delivered a healthy baby boy.Baby Noah and his family recently visited Firefighter Gabor at Station 361 to thank her and the other crew members.The other crew members who assisted on this call were Kyle Williams, Forrest Dill, Eric Hollenbeck, Willie Harris, Hunter Gray. They all acted with the care and professionalism that is expected of them as they face emergency situations.

2024 Independence Day Parade Grand Marshal

Lewis Center, Ohio – Meet the 2024 Orange Township Independence Day Grand Marshal! Ferdinand Garcia served with the US Army for 34 and a half years, retiring in 2019. He has lived in Orange Township for 18 years, thank you, Ferdinand!

AJ Miller Promoted to Assistant Fire Chief

AJ Miller has been with the Orange Township Fire Department since 1998 and last week was his first day as the Assistant Chief of the Orange Township Fire Department. Assistant Chief Miller began with the department as a part-time firefighter. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2004, Captain in 2018, and Assistant Chief in 2024. Long time friend, and colleague, Chief Reardon of Liberty Township / Powell Fire Department spoke during the Promotion Ceremony sharing stories from when him and AJ met in middle school. Trustee Michael Ringle swore him in, and his parents and four children helped pin his bugles and badge on.
