There has been some confusion about collection this week because of the Independence Day holiday. Rumpke is collecting as normal with no delays.

COLLECTION DAYS:
Residents east of South Old State Road, including those on the east side of South Old State Road is Thursdays.
Residents west of South Old State Road, including those on the west side of South Old State Road is Fridays.

YARD WASTE REMOVAL
Yard Waste will be accepted in brown paper yard waste bags or an open container marked yard waste that the driver can empty into the truck. Paper yard waste bags may be purchased at Home Depot, yard waste stickers can be picked up at the Township Hall, 1680 E. Orange Rd., 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Rumpke will pick up bundled sicks/limbs. The bundles have a 4 foot size limit and cannot be too long/heavy to prevent injury to the carriers.

If residents have a large amount of sicks/limbs an alternate solution is Price Farms (formerly known as Price-Barnes Organics Ltd.) web site: http://www.pricefarms.org/ Click on the Rates tab for costs. Larger debris e.g. tree stumps etc. (items Rumpke cannot pick up) can be taken to Price Farms.
Yard waste can not be accepted in plastic bags because it is taken directly to a compost facility.
